The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly KNHA Alhaji Jibril Ismail Falgore extends felicitations to Muslims on the occasion of the new Islamic year.
In a statement issued by the spokesperson to the speaker Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai and made available to newsmen in Kano.

Falgore explained that the Islamic New Year signifies an opportunity to renew hope and commitment to serving Allah (SWT) to earn His blessings throughout the Hijri year of 1446 AH, starting this Muharram on 7/7/2024.
He further expressed that as faithful individuals, we must remain resolute and positive in our endeavors to achieve remarkable transformations.
He assured the people of Kano State of more consistent, high-quality legislation that would enhance the well-being of the populace.
He pointed out that in the new Islamic year, priority will be given to quality legislation reflecting the essential role of Assembly members.
Falgore emphasized that the new Islamic year presents an opportunity to achieve unprecedented success that will position Kano State ahead of its peers in the country through well-structured bills aimed at improving the standard of living of the people.
