Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, has described women voters as a formidable political force whose steadfastness and numerical strength remain decisive in determining electoral victory.
The governor made the remarks while addressing All Progressives Congress (APC) women leaders drawn from all 225 electoral wards of the state during an interactive session in Birnin Kebbi.

Dr. Idris commended women for their active participation in politics and nation-building, describing them as the vanguard of civic responsibility.
He assured the women that his administration remains committed to their welfare and empowerment through sustainable initiatives designed to uplift their living conditions.
He further urged women of voting age to take advantage of the ongoing voter registration exercise, stressing the importance of securing or renewing voter cards as a prerequisite for full participation in the electoral process.

“Your voter’s card is your political weapon; without it, you cannot exercise your civic rights,” the governor emphasized.
Earlier, the State APC Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Kana Zuru, praised the governor for organizing the engagement with grassroots women leaders, noting that such direct interaction was unprecedented in Kebbi’s political history.
Also speaking, the APC State Women Leader, Hajiya Aisha Gunabi, reaffirmed the loyalty and total support of women across the 225 wards to Governor Idris and his administration.
