The speaker Kano State House of Assembly KNHA Alhaji Jibril Ismail Falgore has reassured the Vice Chancellor of Bayero University Kano, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas of his unwavering commitment towards uplifting educational standards in the state.

Falgore explained that the Kano House of Assembly is more than ready to deliver quality legislation aimed at improving the standards of the educational sector.
He highlighted that, as a legislative arm, the Assembly would explore other means to partner with relevant stakeholders such as BUK to solve challenges confronting educational institutions across the State.

The speaker commended the Vice-Chancellor’s team from Bayero University Kano for their visit, describing it as apt and appealing to them to continue doing the right thing to change the narrative.

Earlier, the Vice-Chancellor of Bayero University Kano, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, emphasized the need to work together with the Kano Assembly in areas of quality legislation aimed at improving the development of the educational sector.
Highlighting the track record of Bayero University Kano amidst other universities across Nigeria and the world, he said that there are more than 18,000 Kano State indigenes in the university which was rated as the fifth in national ranking.
