The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) extends her deepest condolences to His Excellency, Governor Mallam Umar Namadi and the people of Jigawa State on the tragic event of the fuel tanker explosion that claimed the lives of many persons.

The statement explained that, NAWOJ is deeply saddened over this tragic event as this loss is not only to JIGAWA but a loss to the nation as a whole.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims during this difficult time. May they find strength and solace in the midst of this tragedy.
We pray that Almighty Allah grant their souls eternal peace and grant them a place to rest Jannatul Firdausi.
