The Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, Barr. Hannatu Musa Musawa, has held bilateral talks with the Canadian High Commissioner to Nigeria, His Excellency Pasquale Salvaggio, to strengthen cooperation in the arts, culture, tourism and creative economy.
The meeting focused on expanding collaboration in cultural exchange, tourism development, creative industry partnerships, skills development and institutional cooperation.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to leveraging the economic potential of the creative sector through stronger bilateral engagement and mutually beneficial partnerships.
The discussions also underscored the importance of cultural diplomacy in fostering innovation, promoting people-to-people exchanges and creating new opportunities for artists, creatives and tourism stakeholders in both countries.
The engagement reflects the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy’s commitment to forging strategic international partnerships aimed at positioning Nigeria’s creative and cultural industries as key drivers of economic growth, job creation and global collaboration.
