Speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting in Hadejia, Jigawa State, Ringim condemned some of the state government’s policies, arguing that they fail to address the needs of the common man.
He specifically criticized the recently launched citizens’ engagement program by the Jigawa State Government, claiming it does not provide an effective platform for ordinary citizens to voice their concerns.

“A common man should be allowed to speak his mind, even if it is against the government’s interest,” Ringim stated.
He lamented the increasing hardship faced by Nigerians, warning that the suffering has become unbearable.

Ringim urged the state and federal government to take urgent action to improve the lives of its citizens, emphasizing that many people have been reduced to beggars and are struggling to survive.
“The government must prioritize education, healthcare, job creation, and agricultural development. Every policy and program should be designed to uplift the common man, with a serious commitment to effective implementation. If these sectors are improved, poverty will decrease, and so will crime, including theft, armed robbery, and kidnapping,” he added.
Ringim reaffirmed NNPP’s role as an opposition party, stating that it is their duty to hold the government accountable and demand policies that will alleviate the suffering of the people.
He also called on the electorate to reflect on their experiences under the current administration and make informed decisions in future elections.
