In it’s efforts to ensure the protection of lives and properties of road users in Kazaure Area ,the Federal Road Safety Corps, Kazaure Unit Command had embarked on a massive public enlightenment campaign across all the local government areas under the jurisdiction of the Unit Command.
This was disclosed by the Unit Commander Assistant Corps Commander (ACC), Umar A Ali while fielding questions from Journalists during an Enlightenment Campaign of Ember Month at Hafed Radio FM Kazaure
Eng’r. Umar A Ali said, this is in compliance with the directive of the Corp Marshal to engage the public on safe driving during this period.
He emphasized the need for commuters to ‘speak up’ against reckless driving as they are mostly at the receiving end of Road Traffic Crashes (RTCs).
He further stressed that road safety is a collective responsibility for all.
Finally, he urged the public to report all cases of Recklessness, black spots or RTCs via the FRSC Mobile APP, toll free number 122 or any other FRSC authorized platform for prompt action.
