The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly KNHA, Rt Hon Jibril Ismail Falgore, has expressed his deep sorrow over the passing of Ahmadu Haruna Zago, the former Managing Director of the Kano State Refuse Management and Sanitation Board (REMASAB).

In a statement, Falgore described Dan Zago as a “straightforward gentleman” who was an exceptional public servant, politician, and business personality.

He noted that Dan Zago made significant contributions to the development of Kano State over the past 40 years.

Falgore extended his condolences to the Executive Governor of Kano State, Engr Abba Kabir Yusuf, Dan Zago’s family, and the people of Kano. He prayed for Allah’s mercy and blessings on the deceased.
The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly acknowledged that Dan Zago’s death is a great loss to Kano State and Nigeria as a whole.
