Presenting the motion, Daneji expressed concern over the dilapidated state of the school despite government’s commitment to educational advancement.
He noted that the institution has contributed immensely to Islamic and general education, producing notable scholars and Sharia judges since its establishment by the late Sheikh Nasiru Kabara.
He therefore called on the Commissioner for Education to dispatch an assessment team to the school for urgent renovation to meet global standards.
In another development, members representing Tarauni and Kumbotso constituencies, Kabiru Dahiru and Mudassir Zawaciki, jointly sponsored a motion of urgent public importance seeking the construction of DanTsinke Road and drainage in Darmanawa Ward, Tarauni LGA.
