The Chairman of Gwarzo Local Government, Dr. Mani Tsoho Gwarzo, has been honoured with the prestigious Outstanding Local Government Chairman in Nigeria Award by the Senate Committee on States and Local Government Administration.
The national recognition celebrates his exemplary leadership, impactful development initiatives, and steadfast commitment to strengthening grassroots governance in Gwarzo and across Kano State.
The award was formally presented to the Chairman in his office by a delegation led by the Director Personnel Management (DPM) of Gwarzo Local Government, Hajiya Zulaihat Sabo Usman. She was accompanied by the Chief Personnel Officer (CPO) and the Treasurer during the brief but symbolic ceremony.
In her remarks, Hajiya Zulaihat noted that the award reflects not only Dr. Tsoho’s accomplishments within Gwarzo but also his broader contributions to improving local government performance statewide.
