The management of AMTAY Technology Limited has rewarded its staff with gifts valued at ₦20.5 million in recognition of outstanding performance and dedication, as the company marked its 15th anniversary of corporate excellence.
The anniversary celebration, held in Kano, featured the emergence of seven staff members who were honoured with plaques and various gifts for their loyalty and selfless service to the company.
Among the top beneficiaries were two staff members who received fully sponsored trips to perform the 2026 Hajj. They are the Project Manager, Engr. Rabiu Shehu Bilyaminu, and a General Supervisor, Lawan Hamisu.
Other award recipients included Engr. Mustapha Abubakar, who emerged as Best Site Engineer and received a plaque and a smart television; Bello Tanko, Best Car Driver of the Year; Abubakar Mahmud, Best Truck Driver of the Year; Sulaiman Usman Yaro, awarded Most Active and Dedicated Mason; and Yakubu Emmanuel, who received the Most Active and Dedicated Foreman award. Each of the latter awardees received plaques and refrigerators.
Speaking at the event, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of AMTAY Technology Limited, Engr. Dr. Muhammad Tayyeb Abdulwahhab, said the company deemed it necessary to reward excellence and dedication, despite still being a growing organisation.
According to him, “Hard work pays when it is appreciated, and that is why we decided to honour those who truly deserve it.”

The event also featured cultural entertainment, including traditional displays by Koroso dancers, who captivated guests with impressive acrobatic performances.
Dignitaries at the occasion included the Registrar of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Prof. O.A.U. Uche, who was represented by Engr. Prof. Aaron Aboshio, the Deputy Comptroller of Customs and National Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Customs Service, Abdullahi Maiwada, Hon. Bashar Aliyu Buhari, Special Adviser to the Minister, Federal Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning; Dr. Usman Yahaya Kansila, FNSE, FNIM, Chairman of UYK Groups, represented by Alhaji Nasidi Sabo; Dr. Adamu Mato, Gado da Masun Rano; Turakin Bunkure, and other well-wishers.
