The Kano State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (KSCHMA) has strengthened its strategic collaboration with the Kano Municipal Waqf Foundation through the donation of laptop computers aimed at improving service delivery and administrative efficiency.
The laptops were presented by the Executive Secretary of KSCHMA, Dr. Rahila Aliyu Muktar, to the Chairman of the Kano Municipal Waqf Foundation, Alhaji Tijjani Yawale, during a ceremony held in Kano.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Muktar emphasized the importance of collaboration and digital innovation in advancing social welfare and inclusive healthcare programmes.
She said equipping partner institutions with modern digital tools would enhance efficiency, accountability, and timely service delivery.
According to her, the donation forms part of KSCHMA’s broader strategy to improve coordination, data management, and transparency among partner organizations involved in community-based interventions.
In his remarks, Alhaji Tijjani Yawale expressed appreciation to KSCHMA for the support, describing the donation as timely and impactful.
He noted that the laptops would strengthen the Foundation’s capacity to implement its humanitarian programmes, streamline operations, and expand outreach to vulnerable populations across Kano State.
The initiative, KSCHMA said, aligns with the vision of the Kano State Government under Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf to promote inclusive social protection, digital innovation, and equitable access to essential services.
KSCHMA reiterated its commitment to sustaining partnerships that support community-focused development and improve healthcare and social welfare outcomes in the state.
