As Nigeria prepares for the 9th GIABA Inter-University Speech Contest, the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) has celebrated Miss Goodness Abah Ojonoma, the runner-up in the national selection process, describing her as an outstanding ambassador of academic excellence and youth leadership.
Goodness, a 500-level Law student at the University of Abuja, is recognised for her passion for corporate governance, diplomacy, advocacy, youth development, international relations and public service.
Throughout her academic journey, she has distinguished herself through student leadership, legal mentorship initiatives and impactful volunteer work aimed at driving positive social change.
She accompanied Nigeria’s representative for the contest, Miss Amrah Onize Salihu, on a courtesy visit to the NFIU Headquarters alongside Dr. Nasiru Mukhtar, Director of the Law Clinic and Head of the Department of Public Law, University of Abuja.
The NFIU praised Goodness for her dedication, intellectual excellence and leadership potential, expressing confidence that she will continue to make meaningful contributions to promoting integrity, good governance and youth empowerment in Nigeria and beyond.
