The Dahiru Bara’u Mangal Foundation has commenced free surgical treatment for 120 patients suffering from urinary-related conditions in Katsina State.
The medical intervention began on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Amadi Rimi Orthopaedic Hospital in Katsina as part of the Foundation’s humanitarian healthcare programme aimed at providing free medical services to vulnerable residents.
Speaking with journalists during the exercise, a member of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, Alhaji Hussaini Kabir, said 2,162 patients suffering from urinary-related conditions had benefited from the Foundation’s free surgical interventions since its establishment in 2018.
He explained that the Foundation organises the medical outreaches whenever a significant number of patients requiring urinary surgery are identified.
According to him, about 120 patients are expected to benefit from the ongoing exercise, with the Foundation covering the cost of surgery, medication and other necessary medical care.
“Alhaji Dahiru Bara’u Mangal is sponsoring this free medical intervention for people in need. We are here at Amadi Rimi Orthopaedic Hospital to conduct free surgeries for patients suffering from these conditions,” Kabir said.
He added that beneficiaries would receive the required surgical procedures, post-operative care and necessary medication.
Some beneficiaries expressed appreciation to the Dahiru Bara’u Mangal Foundation for the intervention, describing it as a major relief, particularly for patients who could not afford the cost of treatment.
They prayed for continued success and blessings for the Foundation’s founder, Alhaji Dahiru Bara’u Mangal, while commending his sustained humanitarian support for people suffering from urinary-related ailments.
The medical outreach is part of the Foundation’s broader humanitarian and healthcare initiatives aimed at improving access to quality medical services for vulnerable populations across Katsina State.
