Abdullahi-Bunza made the promise while addressing journalists at the Candidates Engagement Forum organised by the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kebbi State Council, in Birnin Kebbi.
He said the current take-home pay of Nigerian workers was inadequate in view of prevailing economic realities, lamenting the hardship being experienced by civil servants as a result of what he described as unpopular government policies.
The candidate said such policies were subjecting workers to trauma and untold hardship and gradually pushing them into hopelessness.

Abdullahi-Bunza said his ambition was not driven by personal aggrandisement but by a desire to, in his words, liberate Kebbi State and improve the welfare of its people.
He identified security as one of his major priorities, alleging that governments at various levels were not doing enough to address banditry, kidnapping and other criminal activities affecting the state and the country.
The Accord candidate also questioned the level of security provided to ordinary citizens, noting that prominent public officials and their families were rarely subjected to the same security challenges faced by the general population.
He pledged to give security issues priority if elected, with the aim of restoring peace and giving residents a greater sense of safety and hope.

On healthcare, Abdullahi-Bunza promised to give the sector adequate attention and improve healthcare services in the state to reduce the need for residents to seek medical treatment abroad.
He appealed to the people of Kebbi State to carefully consider their choices at the polls and vote for the Accord Party.
