This was contained in a press release jointly signed by the Kano State Coordinator and Secretary of SNB, Aishatu Sule, and Adamu Ibrahim Dabo, respectively.
The release maintained that Comrade Waiya is well known for his commitment to positively deliver what he is assigned to do, a feat that is believed to be translated into his stay at this new position.

It urged both broadcast, print and online media practitioners and other stakeholders in the information management fraternity within the state to give the new commissioner all the needed support and cooperation to move the profession to the greater level of development.
