The Kano State Police Command has decorated twenty-nine officers with new ranks during a ceremony held at the Command Headquarters.
The Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, congratulated the newly promoted officers and urged them to uphold integrity, discipline, and selfless service in the discharge of their duties.
He noted that the elevation comes with greater responsibilities and called on the officers to justify the confidence reposed in them by exhibiting exemplary leadership and accountability.
The beneficiaries of the promotion include two Assistant Commissioners of Police, twenty-one Chief Superintendents of Police, and six Superintendents of Police.
Bakori reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to tackling emerging security challenges in the state through professionalism and collective effort.
