As Nigerians await the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to lift the ban on political campaigns, about 1,500 registered support groups under the All Progressives Congress (APC) have endorsed the Renewed Hope Network (TRN) as a key platform to drive grassroots mobilization for the re-election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
The endorsement was disclosed in a statement issued in Abuja by the Deputy Director-General of the APC Support Groups Council, Dr. AK Peters, following a strategic meeting with TRN’s technical team.

According to Peters, the meeting involved prominent figures including Okpokwu Ogenyi, a former Senior Special Assistant to the APC National Chairman on Civil Society and Support Groups, and Tunji John Asaolu, described as an international diplomat of high repute.
He expressed confidence in the growing nationwide acceptance and momentum of the Renewed Hope Network.
The TRN, powered by former Zamfara State Governor and Senator representing Zamfara West Senatorial District, Abdulaziz Yari, is positioned as a special purpose vehicle aimed at coordinating broad-based grassroots support ahead of the 2027 polls.
As part of its early activities, the network has begun mobilizing polling unit canvassers across the country, laying the foundation for effective voter engagement ahead of the January 16, 2027 presidential election.
Peters noted that TRN has already established comprehensive structures and strategies designed to secure a decisive victory for President Tinubu.

“The TRN is committed to building the most formidable grassroots political movement in support of Mr. President within a very short time while networking every corner of the country,” he said.
He added that out of over 3,500 registered APC support groups, 1,500 have already aligned with TRN, with expectations that an additional 2,000 groups may join before Easter.
The APC Support Groups Council leadership emphasized that under Senator Yari’s guidance, the Renewed Hope Network represents a strong vehicle for grassroots mobilization nationwide, reaffirming their commitment to ensuring President Tinubu’s re-election and inauguration for a second term on May 29, 2027.
