Mainstream Energy Solutions Limited (MESL) has formally introduced its incoming Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mal. Siraj Abdullahi, to the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC).
The introduction was made during a courtesy visit to the Commission by the company’s management, led by the outgoing MD/CEO, Engr. Lamu Audu.

The visit provided an opportunity for the company’s management to engage with NERC and reaffirm its commitment to maintaining a strong and constructive relationship with the electricity sector regulator.
Engr. Audu expressed appreciation to NERC for the support and collaboration extended to Mainstream Energy during his tenure.
He noted that effective regulatory engagement remained important to the continued development and performance of Nigeria’s electricity supply industry.

Audu also formally presented Siraj Abdullahi as his successor, expressing confidence in his ability to build on the company’s achievements and further strengthen its contribution to the electricity sector.
Receiving the delegation, NERC welcomed the incoming MD/CEO and congratulated him on his appointment.
The Commission also commended Engr. Audu for his contributions to the electricity industry during his tenure.

NERC reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining effective collaboration with Mainstream Energy and other industry stakeholders to improve sector performance, strengthen investment and support the delivery of more reliable electricity supply to consumers.
