The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) has announced a reduction in the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, at its retail outlets.

According to a circular sent to NNPC dealers in Kano and Jigawa, the price has been reduced by N25 in Kano and N15 in Jigawa.

Kano: N965 per litre (down from N990)
Jigawa: N975 per litre (down from N990)

However, it was observed that other filling stations in Kano, belonging to major marketers, are still selling petrol above N1,000 per litre.
