    CSACEFA Re-enroll Donates Uniforms to 30 female students

    The Civil Society Action Coalition on Education For All CSACEFA  has  donated uniforms and re-enrolled  30 out of school female students in challawa community Kumbotso local government area  Kano.
    The state coordinator CSACEFA Dr. Auwal Halilu explained that, the beneficiaries were selected after a fact finding that they were out of school due to lack of school uniforms and other learning materials.
    According to him, government alone cannot shoulder the responsibility of the states large population, hence the need for parents, philanthropists and wealthy individuals to contribute their quota to ensure that education has reached all. 
    He reiterated CSACEFAS’ readiness to provide all the necessary support to ensure enrollment, retention and completion of girls education in Kano state.

    The head teacher Challawa Special Primary School Malam Ahmed Ibrahim Panshekara, hinted that, the civil society has dedicated itself by ensuring that children in the community are educated. 
    He stressed that students received uniforms to enable them attend classes as most of them dropped out due to lack of funds to purchase the needed resources for schooling.
    Ahmed noted that the intervention has yielded positive results as many ou tof school children were brought back to school,saying that the school would work hard in providing quality education.
    Representative of the  traditional ward head of Challawa Malam Aminu Wakili Challawa described the gesture as an intervention that would go a long way in developing educational standard in the community.
    He pointed out that,CSAFECA has intervened on various educational issues across the state,such as provision of toilets to schools, learning and writing materials as well as enrolling students to acquire knowledge. 
    The representative said 30 female drop outs were re-enrolled back to challawa special primary school and provided with new uniforms.
    Some of the beneficiaries who spoke to Paradigm News said they received new uniforms,school sandals and writing materials.
    They promised to utilize the learning materials and rededicate themselves to their studies to achieve the desired objectives.
