Investigators from the Kano Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested popular TikToker Murja Ibrahim Kunya for allegedly abusing the Nigerian currency in Kano.
An inside source from the EFCC confirmed that Murja Kunya was arrested yesterday, Saturday, in Kano.

“The investigation is ongoing, and upon completion, she will be charged to court for prosecution,” the source added.
Murja initially started her engagement on social media as a hobby but later pursued it as a profession from which she earns a livelihood.

Gradually, Murja became a household name on social media, especially on TikTok, under the account name Yagayagamen. She has been at the center of many controversies that have led to her conviction multiple times in Kano state.
