The Kano State House of Assembly (KNHA) has organized a two-day workshop for legislative aides as part of its efforts to improve service delivery.
The training, which involves over 50 legislative aides, focuses on explaining their duties, responsibilities, and limitations in order to enhance their individual performance and, consequently, the overall performance of the Kano Assembly.

During the opening ceremony the speaker of the Kano house of assembly Alhaji Jibril Ismail Falgore, stated that the training aims to build the capacity of legislative aides for better service to their principals.

He also emphasized the importance of capacity building for all public servants, saying that training and retraining is an essential component of His Excellency, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf’s blueprint.
The chief consultant and former clerk Alhaji Lawan Badamasi Gezawa, highlights the importance of the workshop, emphasizing its strategic role in shaping the future engagement of legislative aides.

The workshop was attended by the Clerk Kano house of assembly Alhaji Bashir Diso, Director Planning, Research, Statistics, and Library, Hamisu Satatima, Director l Information and Publication, Garba Kadawa, Director Legal, Barrister Nasidi Aliyuand Director Legislative services Inuwa Yusuf.
