Kano, Nigeria – The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, has lauded the management of Aminu Kano College of Islamic and Legal Studies (AKCILS) for its efforts in launching a degree program in Shari’a and Legal Studies.
Comrade Gwarzo, who also serves as the Commissioner for Higher Education, made the commendation while receiving a delegation led by the Provost of AKCILS, Professor Balarabe Abubakar Jakada, in his office.

The Deputy Governor expressed his gratitude to the delegation for their visit and reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to supporting the development of the college.
Professor Jakada briefed the Deputy Governor on the college’s readiness to commence its degree programs, highlighting the significance of this milestone for the institution’s growth and academic excellence.
