The Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Limited, Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, has paid a courtesy visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador to Nigeria, H.E. Salem Saeed Al Shamsi, at the UAE Embassy in Abuja.
The meeting highlighted the strong and longstanding bilateral energy relations between Nigeria and the UAE, with discussions focused on expanding cooperation in upstream oil and gas investments, gas development and monetisation, crude oil trading, and infrastructure financing.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening energy partnerships anchored on mutual respect and a shared vision for sustainable, long-term collaboration in the global energy sector.
Speaking during the visit, Engr. Ojulari noted that as a commercially driven energy company, NNPC Limited offers a robust portfolio of bankable projects across the entire energy value chain.
He added that the company remains open to value-based partnerships with leading UAE institutions, including Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, and National Petroleum Construction Company.
The visit builds on earlier cooperation agreements between President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and President Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as both countries continue efforts to translate diplomatic understandings into concrete, mutually beneficial energy investments and partnerships.
