The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Kano has taken disciplinary action against some of its members, including a senator and legislators, over alleged anti-party activities.

The State Chairman of the party Alhaji Hashimu Dungurawa disclosed this to newsmen in Kano on Monday.

NNPP Leader Slams APC, Says Citizens Have Endured Enough Suffering
He said the four legislators including Senator representating Kano south Kawu Sumaila, Alhaji Abdullahi Sani Rogo, a member representing Rogo Federal Constituency, Alhaji Abdullahi Rurum, a member representing Rano/Kibiya, and Ali Maadakin Gini, Senator representing Dala Federal Constituency.”

The NNPP party chairman, said the party, expressed disappointment with the recent actions of some National Assembly members elected under the party’s platform.
According to him, despite being given complementary tickets to the legislators during the party elections, these members have allegedly gone against the party’s wishes, beliefs, and values.
