Kwankwaso, who is the Executive Director of Finance at the Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority, made the commendation while reacting to the President’s Independence Day address to Nigerians.
He said the President’s emphasis on economic reforms, job creation, industrial development, agriculture and social intervention programmes reflected the administration’s stated commitment to addressing Nigeria’s longstanding economic challenges.
According to him, the Independence Day address provided an opportunity for Nigerians to assess the direction of the country’s economy and the measures being implemented to strengthen it.
The APC chieftain noted that the reforms introduced by the Tinubu administration required difficult decisions, adding that sustained implementation would be essential to achieving their intended objectives.
He particularly welcomed the President’s focus on reducing the cost of living, increasing agricultural production, expanding infrastructure and creating economic opportunities for young Nigerians.

He, however, stressed the need for sustained attention to the challenges confronting ordinary Nigerians, particularly the rising costs of food, transportation, education and healthcare.
