The founder and convener of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has expressed confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic reforms, saying the policies are attracting growing support across the country ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Tompolo, represented bythe Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, made the remarks while addressing journalists at the Kano State Government House.

He commended President Tinubu for demonstrating political courage in implementing economic reforms, including the removal of fuel subsidies and the introduction of foreign exchange reforms, which he said had contributed to growing political support for the administration.
According to him, the President’s economic policies, alongside ongoing infrastructure development projects, have continued to attract the attention and support of political leaders across the country.
Guwor cited the defection of several state governors to the All Progressives Congress (APC) as evidence of growing political alignment with the Tinubu administration, noting that about 31 governors were now members of the ruling party.
He referenced the decision of the Delta State Governor to join the APC, describing it as a significant political development influenced, in part, by the Federal Government’s economic and infrastructure policies.
The Speaker also highlighted major infrastructure projects in Northern Nigeria, including the proposed railway development in Kano, the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) gas pipeline project and the ongoing rehabilitation of the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport.

He said the projects, alongside the administration’s broader economic reforms, demonstrated the Federal Government’s commitment to infrastructure development and were contributing to increased public support for President Tinubu.
Speaking on the movement’s plans ahead of the 2027 presidential election, Guwor said the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement was preparing to establish state chapters across the northern and southern parts of the country.
He explained that the organisation would also strengthen its grassroots structures by appointing coordinators at the unit level to engage residents and mobilise support for the President.
According to him, the movement intends to reach households across the country through its door-to-door campaign, with its ambassadors expected to engage communities and encourage support for Tinubu’s re-election bid.
Guwor also disclosed that young Nigerians were actively involved in the movement, noting that its national coordinator was a former student union leader. He said the organisation had continued to attract young people in support of its activities.

Expressing confidence in the movement’s mobilisation strategy, Guwor projected that President Tinubu could secure at least 70 per cent of the votes in every state in the 2027 presidential election.
He said the movement remained committed to expanding its nationwide structures and mobilising support for the President’s continued leadership and economic reform agenda.
