Governor Nasir Idris has called for unity within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State, reaffirming support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections.
Speaking at a state unity rally held at Haliru Abdu Stadium, Governor Idris emphasized the need for togetherness among party members to sustain progress and strengthen the APC’s position in the state.
He expressed confidence that President Tinubu would continue to deliver more developmental projects, noting that the administration remains committed to improving the welfare of Nigerians. The governor highlighted ongoing federal interventions and projects in Kebbi as clear signs of the president’s dedication to the state.
Governor Idris also pledged to deliver more dividends of democracy across key sectors and urged residents to continue supporting the APC government with prayers and cooperation to achieve its goals.
Earlier, the Kebbi State APC Chairman, Alhaji Kana Zuru, and the State Women Leader, Aishatu Abubakar Gunabi, reiterated the party’s unity and strength, expressing unwavering support for both the governor and President Tinubu.
They also stressed that while the party remains cohesive, there will be no automatic tickets for aspirants, noting that consensus and primary elections will guide candidate selection.
