The Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC) has presented Certificates of Participation to medical students who took part in a sensitisation programme on ethics, integrity and anti-corruption.
The certificates were presented by the Executive Chairman of the Commission, Mallam Saidu Yahaya, to members of the Kano State Medical Students’ Association (KAMSA) who attended the presentation.

A total of 95 medical students participated in the sensitisation programme, which was held on July 31, 2026, at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH).
At the programme, the PCACC Chairman delivered a lecture titled “Ethics, Integrity and Anti-Corruption in the Health Sector: Shaping the Next Generation of Ethical Healthcare Professionals.”

While presenting the certificates, Yahaya commended the students for their commitment to promoting ethical conduct and urged them to build their professional careers on the principles of integrity, accountability and respect for public trust.
He said investing in young professionals was critical to building a culture of integrity and preventing corruption in the health sector and other key areas of public service.
The Chairman said the initiative formed part of the Commission’s ongoing efforts to promote ethical values, strengthen corruption prevention and nurture a new generation of professionals committed to responsible service to society.

The Commission encouraged the beneficiaries to apply the knowledge gained from the programme in their academic and future professional careers.
