Kannywood actor, Yusuf Sulaiman Bosho, has commended Nestlé Milo for introducing an empowerment programme aimed at supporting tea sellers, popularly known as Masu Shayi, in Kano.
Bosho gave the commendation during the Milo Masu Shayi programme held in Kano on Saturday.

He described the initiative as a welcome development capable of strengthening small businesses and improving livelihoods within communities.
According to him, providing tea sellers with essential business tools, including gas cookers, cups and ingredients, would serve as a major motivation and boost their daily operations.
He urged other corporate organisations to emulate Nestlé Milo by supporting small-scale businesses across the country.
Also speaking, Milo Ambassador, Mansura Isa, expressed satisfaction with the company’s support for less-privileged customers, describing the initiative as an opportunity that could help beneficiaries expand their businesses.
She urged the beneficiaries to make effective use of the items provided to improve and grow their businesses.
Ms Isa said more empowerment programmes were being planned by the company to support its customers across Nigeria, West Africa and Africa.
The Category Manager of Nestlé Milo, Gilbert Tweneboah-Koduah, said the company had been making concerted efforts to support its customers and help develop their businesses within their respective communities.
He assured the beneficiaries that Nestlé Milo would continue to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.
Some beneficiaries at the event expressed appreciation to the management and staff of the company for the support and pledged to continue patronising Nestlé Milo products.
