The leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP in Jigawa State Malam Aminu Ibrahim Ringim and the party’s Gubernatorial candidate for the 2023 general election said the members of the party are waiting for directives from the National leader Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
Mr. Ringim stated this in an interview with newsmen, while reacting to ongoing political speculation about the party’s next political move ahead of the 2027 general election.

His report comes amidst reports that the New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP is planning a possible merger with one of the major political parties PDP or APC.
He urged the party’s loyalists to disregard such rumours and remain focused ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Mr. Ringim urged the party leadership from wards, local Government to the state level and supporters to remain United and continue working for the success of the party.
According to him” I want to tell all our party supporters that, for now we are for NNPP and we will continue to work for the party, if there is any developments we will receive it from our leader Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, he is our focus and he is the one we follow”
“therefore what ever decision he takes, we are ready and happy to follow him for development of the country ” Ringim said.
