This competition brings together 31 secondary schools, comprising 15 private and 16 public schools, all vying for top honors .

The Gombe State Principals Cup is a developmental football program aimed at promoting sports among secondary school students.

Over 3500 Athletes Set For Gombe Inter-Schools Championship
The competition is being sponsored by Green White Green Sports Center Limited and the Gombe State Athletics Association.
Hon. Ahmed Shuaibu-Gara Gombe, Chairman of the games’ Main Organizing Committee (MOC), emphasized the importance of fair play and adherence to the rules.

He warned that any school found violating the rules would face penalties.
A seven-member jury committee, headed by Dr. Mana and secretariat by Umar Kenya, has been set up to address complaints and protests during the competition.
