The Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar A. Namadi, has lifted the suspension of Auwalu Dalladi Sankara, the Commissioner for Special Duties, effective immediately.
The initial suspension was due to Sankara’s alleged involvement in an incident reported to the Kano State Hisbah Board.

However, the suspension has been lifted as Sankara has been discharged and acquitted by an Upper Shari’ah Court in Kano State
