Ado Bayero’s family has released a statement to set the record straight about the relocation of their daughter’s wedding to Senator Barau’s son from Kano to Abuja.
According to Alhaji Aminu Babba Dan Agundi, the decision to change the venue was solely made by the bride’s family, based on their tradition, to accommodate guests from across the country and abroad.

The family emphasized that the relocation has no connection with the Tax Reform Bills and urged those linking the two to stop.
The wedding is scheduled to take place on December 13, 2024
