The All Progressives Congress, APC, Kebbi State Chapter, says the party remains strong and united and is well positioned to sustain its development agenda in the state.
The Special Adviser to the Kebbi State Governor on Political Matters, Alhaji Kabiru Sani, stated this at a press conference held at the party’s headquarters in Birnin Kebbi.
He said the growing unity within the party would enable the APC to defeat opposition parties at all levels of the 2027 elections.
Alhaji Kabiru Sani said the party leadership had recently met to deliberate on issues affecting the party and had taken precautionary measures to prevent any development, either within or outside the party, capable of undermining its collective objectives.
He explained that the measures were aimed at strengthening the party and ensuring that the APC leadership remained focused on delivering the dividends of democracy to the people.
The Special Adviser urged the people of Kebbi State to continue to support Governor Nasir Idris, citing his administration’s efforts in agriculture, education, healthcare and security.
He expressed confidence that the Governor would achieve more if re-elected in 2027.
Alhaji Sani dismissed claims that opposition parties were gaining strength to unseat the APC-led administration in the next general elections.
He described such claims as a “wild goose chase,” urging opposition members to join what he called the people-oriented APC.
The Special Adviser also advised APC members to disregard rumours and hearsay capable of creating division and rancour within the party and society.
He encouraged party members to take advantage of the APC’s open-door policy and seek clarification from party leadership on issues they did not understand rather than relying on unverified information.
