NNPC Limited and its partners have launched a groundbreaking project, introducing five mini-LNG plants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State.
These plants, namely PRIME LNG, NGML/Gasnexus LNG, BUA LNG, Highland LNG, and LNG Arete, boast a combined capacity of 97mmscf/d .

This initiative aligns with the national vision of Gas to Prosperity, aiming to catalyze Nigeria’s economic growth through sustainable development.
The Federal Government has reiterated its commitment to leveraging gas for economic growth and development .

The project is expected to improve the domestic supply of cooking gas, reduce prices, and support industrial and commercial activities. It will also create jobs and drive economic growth in the region .
