Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, has reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with the newly appointed Renewed Hope Agenda (RHA) Ambassador to Kebbi State, Alhaji Sambo Gwandu.
Speaking while receiving the Ambassador at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi, Governor Idris pledged his full support and emphasized a collaborative effort aimed at enlightening Nigerians on the democratic dividends delivered under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
The Governor noted that the Renewed Hope Agenda aligns seamlessly with Kebbi State’s development priorities, especially in the areas of infrastructure, security, and socio-economic empowerment. He also reiterated Kebbi State’s steadfast support for President Tinubu.
Governor Idris expressed concern that despite the notable achievements recorded by both the Federal Government and the Kebbi State Government, certain opposition elements continue to propagate negativity. While acknowledging that criticism is a normal component of democracy, he stressed that it must remain constructive and fair.
Earlier, Ambassador Sambo Gwandu showcased a bus and a Hilux vehicle donated to support RHA logistics operations in Kebbi State. He assured the Governor of his dedication to promoting the developmental strides of both President Tinubu and Governor Idris.
Gwandu explained that the Renewed Hope Agenda was established to enhance the well-being of Nigerians in all sectors. He added that many citizens remain unaware of the economic and social reforms introduced by President Tinubu, noting that addressing this information gap is a key responsibility of RHA Ambassadors.
