The Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Schools Quality Assurance Authority KADSSEB, Dr. Suwaiba Shehu Ibrahim, has held a strategic partnership meeting with the Reaching Out-of-School Children Project aimed at strengthening collaboration and expanding support for post-basic education in Kaduna State.
The meeting focused on widening educational opportunities for young people through more flexible learning pathways, including non-formal education options for learners interested in vocational, technical and entrepreneurial skills development.
Speaking during the engagement, Dr. Suwaiba emphasized the importance of post-basic education as a vital link between foundational learning and higher education, skills acquisition, entrepreneurship and future employment opportunities.
She stressed the need for greater inclusion of senior secondary education in intervention programmes and development support initiatives to improve access to quality education across the state.
In his remarks, the ROOSC Project Coordinator for Out-of-School Children, Mr. Ezra Angai Homa, commended the Board’s proactive approach towards educational development.
He also outlined possible pathways for integrating post-basic education into existing and future support frameworks, while reaffirming the importance of sustained collaboration and stakeholder engagement in improving inclusive and quality education delivery in Kaduna State.
The meeting forms part of ongoing efforts to address challenges affecting access to education and provide more opportunities for young people across the state.
