The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, has commended Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for what he described as courageous, resilient and accountable leadership in driving development across Kano State.
In a statement issued by the Speaker’s Chief Press Secretary, Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai, Falgore said Governor Yusuf’s leadership style is humble, people-centred and focused on accountability and effective service delivery.
The Speaker highlighted the administration’s achievements in key sectors, including healthcare, education, youth and women empowerment, water supply and agriculture, noting that the projects are making a positive impact on communities across the state.
Falgore also praised the Governor’s approval of ₦500 million for constituency projects for members of the Kano State House of Assembly, describing the initiative as a demonstration of inclusive governance aimed at accelerating grassroots development.
He further commended the Governor for approving and constructing the ultramodern Kano State House of Assembly complex, saying the facility will strengthen legislative activities and improve public service delivery.
Expressing confidence in the administration’s performance, the Speaker said the Governor’s achievements have positioned him strongly for a second term in office.
Falgore also acknowledged the Managing Director of Radio Kano, Abubakar Adamu, and the station’s management for their dedication to public service through broadcasting.
The Speaker reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to supporting policies and programmes that promote good governance, accountability and sustainable development in Kano State.
