The Emir of Zazzau and Deputy President General of Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI), Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, has inaugurated a new management team to oversee the affairs of the organisation in Kaduna State.
The new leadership followed the voluntary withdrawal, on medical grounds, of the immediate past State Chairman, Professor Mohammed Shafi’u Abdullahi, Wakilin Makarantan Zazzau.
Inaugurating the team, the Emir charged the new leadership to reposition the Kaduna State chapter of JNI and make it more functional, inclusive and responsive to the needs of the Muslim Ummah.
Malam Bamalli described Kaduna State as strategic to the activities of JNI, stressing the need for proactive, committed and united leadership to strengthen the organisation’s impact.
He urged the new team to work with sincerity and unity in promoting Islamic teachings, peace, unity and community service.
The newly inaugurated members include Alhaji Balarabe Idris Jigo, Wamban Birnin Gwari; Alhaji Dalhat Muhammad Tanimu of Jama’a Emirate; and Malam Tahir Baba Ibrahim, Director of Religious Affairs, Kaduna State Bureau of Interfaith.
Others are Imam Hussaini Iliyasu Murshid of JNI Kaduna State; Alhaji Bashir Umar, Wamban Lere; Malam Muhammad K. Lawal, Marafan Malaman Kauru; and Malam Sani Musa Shehu, Dan Amanar Saminaka.
The development is expected to strengthen the activities and coordination of JNI across Kaduna State.
