According to Sanusi Bature Dawakin-Tofa, the governor’s spokesperson, the trophy was presented to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf by the Commissioner of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Dr. Danjuma Mahmud, during the 22nd State Executive Council Meeting in Kano.
Governor Yusuf commended the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources for their remarkable performance under Dr. Mahmud’s leadership.

He encouraged the ministry to maintain their high standards and urged other ministries to follow their example in delivering impactful results.
In another development, Governor Yusuf received an award from TEENS MATA, a USAID-supported youth empowerment and adolescent health organization that has operated in Kano since 2019.
The award, presented by the Commissioner of Health, Dr. Abubakar Labaran Yusuf, recognized the governor’s significant contributions to the health sector across the state.
