Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), has donated six operational vehicles to the Hisbah and Zakkat Boards to strengthen their activities and ensure more effective service delivery.
The official handover ceremony was held at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi, where Governor Idris personally presented the keys to the leadership of the two Boards.

Speaking at the event, the governor said the gesture reflects his administration’s commitment to equipping government agencies with the necessary tools to perform their duties efficiently.
“These organizations cannot carry out their responsibilities effectively without the required working tools. This donation is part of our promise to support them in discharging their duties,” Governor Idris stated.
He expressed confidence that the vehicles would be used judiciously, adding that similar support would soon be extended to the Preaching Board.
The keys were received on behalf of the Boards by the Chairman of the Zakkat Board, Sheikh Umar Isah, and the Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Architect Sani Aliyu.
