The speaker Kano State House of Assembly Jibril Ismail Falgore, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims on the occasion of Eid Maulud, marking the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In a statement, by the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Kano State House of Assembly Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai made available to newsmen.
Falgore expressed the Assembly’s solidarity with Muslims, wishing them a joyous celebration.
He emphasized the significance of Eid Malud as a time for love, reflection, and remembrance of the Prophet’s teachings.
The speaker urged Muslims to embody the Prophet’s values by showing compassion and kindness to all, regardless of religion, and caring for the less privileged.
He encouraged them to make the celebration memorable by following the Prophet’s teachings and the Holy Quran.
Falgore highlighted the Assembly’s commitment to promoting Islamic values and institutions through quality legislation and moral guidance.
On behalf of the Assembly members, Falgore wished Muslims a happy Eid Malud, celebrating the Prophet’s legacy and teachings.
