The Aminu Magashi Garba AMG Foundation has honoured five outstanding frontline health workers in Sokoto State for their dedication and commitment to effective healthcare provision.
Presenting the 4th Dr Aminu Magashi Annual Award of Excellence at Sokoto Guests Inn in Sokoto State, Dr Magashi congratulated the awardees and emphasised that the award was instituted to annually identify and honour unsung frontline health workers whose dedication and commitment are worthy of commendation, to motivate them to excel further.
The awardees were presented with framed certificates and cash prizes of Fifty Thousand Naira (₦50,000.00) each. Winners of the fourth edition are:
1. Sadiya Salihu – Most Dedicated PHC Staff
2. Sani Tukur – Most Committed Volunteer PHC Staff
3. Murtala Iliyasu – Most Patient-Friendly PHC Staff
4. Aliyu Ahmed – Most Hygienic PHC Staff
5. Abubakar Muhammad – Best Performing LGA Immunisation Officer
In their remarks, the AHBN Sokoto State Focal Person, Mallam Umar Kadi, and the awardees expressed gratitude for the recognition, thanking Dr Aminu Magashi Garba, Chairman of the AMG Foundation, for this impactful initiative.
