Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya has been inaugurated as the 33rd President of the Nigerian Bar Association.
Badejo-Okusanya was sworn in at a ceremony in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Friday, after taking the oath of office administered by her predecessor, Afam Osigwe, SAN.

The event was attended by senior members of the Bar and Bench, among other dignitaries.

In his farewell remarks, Osigwe formally handed over to Badejo-Okusanya, presenting her with a handover note.
Addressing his successor, Osigwe said, “This is your handover note. A more comprehensive one will be given to you later. I hereby now out.”

Badejo-Okusanya’s inauguration marks the beginning of her tenure as the 33rd president of the NBA.
