The Executive Director Youth Society for the Prevention of Infectious Disease and Social Vices YOSPIS Zainab Nasir Ahmad has been identified as a role model in gender advocacy in Nigeria.
This was part of the commendations during an award presentation to Zainab during the Commemoration of the International Day of Living in Peace organized by the Arewa Youth Protection, Unity and Peace forum held at the Kano state government house.

Presenting the Award Kano State Commissioner of Police Muhammad Husaini Gumel commends Zainab for her tireless effort in promoting Peace in Kano state.

Others who spoke Kachallan Kano pharmacist Ahmad Ibrahim Yakasai described the award as meritorious based on her tremendous achievement in YOSPIS.
In her acceptance speech, Zainab calls for the promotion of sustainable development Goals and youth employment to cultivate productive youth in Nigeria.
