The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Jibril Isma’il Falgore, has condoled with the Chairman of Kabo Local Government Area, Hon. Lawan Najume, over the death of his wife, Hajiya Maimuna Lawan Najume.
In a statement issued on Friday by his Chief Press Secretary, Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai, the Speaker described the death as a painful and monumental loss to the Najume family and the people of Kabo Local Government Area.

Rt. Hon. Falgore described the deceased as a loving mother, devout Muslim and woman of exemplary character and discipline who cared deeply about the wellbeing of those around her.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant Hon. Lawan Najume, the bereaved family and all mourners the strength to bear the loss and grant the deceased eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus.

In a separate condolence message, the Speaker also expressed grief over the death of Hon. Sani Muhammad Hotoro, who died in a motor accident.
Falgore described the late Hotoro as a prominent politician, dedicated community leader and committed mentor who contributed to the development of younger members of the community.

He extended his condolences to the deceased’s family, associates and the people of Kano State, praying to Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus.
The Speaker, on behalf of the entire members of the Kano State House of Assembly, prayed for divine strength and comfort for both bereaved families during the period of mourning.
