The creation of Jigawa State from the former Kano State has been hailed as both a blessing and an honor, given the numerous developments that have sprouted across all Senatorial Districts.
This statement was expressed by Dr. Sabo Wada Dutse, a patriotic indigene of the State, in a goodwill message to the Executive Governor, Dr. Namadi Danmodi.
Dr. Dutse,noted that Jigawa State has made significant strides in socioeconomic and political dynamism. He attributed this success to the State’s strategic location and abundant resources, including human, natural, and mineral resources, which are key indicators of development.
Furthermore, Dr. Dutse highlighted that since the State’s inception, development projects have been evenly distributed across Emirates and Local Councils, making Jigawa an attractive destination for investors.
As the State is well known as the “New World” the motto really signified a dawn of a new era to the great people of Jigawa State.
Dr. Sabo Wada Dutse, also extends facilitation to the Jigawa State Council of Chiefs for its exceptional role in postering high sense of people coexistence and serves as custodian of people’s cultures values and norms in accordance with traditional and historical stand point of the State which is a pride to all Jigawians and at the same time saluted Dr Namadi Danmodi for his foresight and visionary leadership styles which translates into advancing the State to a greater height.
Dutse, used the singular opportunity and appealed to all the indigenes of Jigawa State to be a good ambassadors of the State where ever they find themselves and to lead by examples on all matters related to human development and humanitarian services, reminding them that the people of Jigawa State are well known for their doggedness and dedications for prosperity.
Jigawa state had just recently celebrated thirty three years anniversary which was observed in a colourful ceremony across all nook and crannies of the State
