The Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) has inaugurated its Monthly General Meeting as part of efforts to strengthen internal communication, promote staff collaboration and enhance institutional effectiveness.
The meeting, which will be held on the first Monday of every month, is designed to align staff with the Council’s vision, strategic priorities and commitment to improved service delivery.
The inaugural session featured staff members dressed in the Council’s branded T-shirts, symbolising unity, professionalism and a shared commitment to advancing the teaching profession in Nigeria.
A major highlight of the event was the official launch of the TRCN Call Centre, an initiative aimed at improving access to information and providing prompt, efficient support to teachers and other stakeholders across the country.
The Council said the call centre is expected to enhance responsiveness, improve stakeholder engagement and strengthen the quality of services provided by the regulatory body.
TRCN noted that the introduction of the Monthly General Meeting and the launch of the call centre reflect its commitment to institutional excellence, staff engagement and continuous improvement in service delivery.
The Council reaffirmed its resolve to implement initiatives that support the professional development of teachers and improve the effectiveness of its operations nationwide.
